Substation Physical Designer

A company is looking for a Substation Physical Designer responsible for developing substation design packages for clients across the US. Key Responsibilities Utilize industry standards to complete engineering designs and provide technical support for clients Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate substation drawings and mentor less-experienced designers Prepare and review proposals, project estimates, and ensure quality of substation design drawings Required Qualifications High School Diploma; experience level determines position (Designer I: 1+ years, Designer II: 5+ years) Drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Proficiency with NESC, IEEE, and relevant codes and standards Experience in creating and reviewing substation design drawings Ability to work effectively with remotely located team members
