Tax Associate, CPA Preferred

A company is looking for a Tax Associate to support the daily operations of the Tax Department. Key Responsibilities Assist with the quarterly corporate income tax provision process and preparation of tax returns Support month-end close procedures and draft response letters to IRS and state notices Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying process improvement opportunities and maintaining accurate accounting records Required Qualifications 1+ years of public or corporate tax experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligible preferred Experience in healthcare, public company, or public accounting is a plus Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or large ERP systems is advantageous Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced SOX compliant environment
