Technical SOX Compliance Lead

A company is looking for a Principal, Technical SOX Compliance Lead. Key Responsibilities Lead annual scoping and risk assessment exercises for financially relevant systems and applications Perform ongoing risk assessments and support the implementation of systems development lifecycle controls Evaluate and test the design and operating effectiveness of SOX controls, providing guidance to control owners Required Qualifications B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field Minimum of 9+ years of experience, preferably in external audit or consulting for publicly traded companies In-depth understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, Section 404, and COSO framework Deep knowledge of platform technology environments and service-oriented architecture Strong risk management experience, including performing annual risk assessments and executing SOX control testing
