Washington State Parent Partner
A company is looking for a Parent Partner who has lived experience as a parent or guardian of a child with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Empower families by providing individualized, strength-based support and education
Collaborate with patients, families, and clinical care team members to offer resource referrals
Facilitate coaching and information sharing to assist families in navigating challenges
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience as a parent/guardian of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges
Familiarity with the children's mental health system
Completion of Washington State online peer training and application as a certified peer counselor within 60 days of employment
Completion of Washington State Youth and Family training within 6 months of employment
