California Licensed Quantitative Analyst
A company is looking for a Quantitative Analyst II to provide risk analytics and expert support to business units.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the design and implementation of process evaluation methods and develops solutions to address identified risks
Sources, compiles, and interprets data, performing complex analysis for risk trends and discrepancies
Produces reports based on data analysis and company trends, enabling insight into potential losses and risk mitigation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or statistical modeling, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field is preferred
5+ years of relevant experience in model development, validation, or implementation within the financial industry is preferred
Proficiency in statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL)
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to stress testing and capital planning
