A company is looking for a Certified Coder III (Surgery Coder). Key Responsibilities: Charge extract, apply diagnosis, apply modifiers, and understand NCCI edits and regulatory requirements Communicate with clinic staff to ensure compliant and appropriate coding Research and process denials, collaborating with the Accounts Receivable Team Required Qualifications: 5+ years of professional coding experience in a large academic medical setting Experience in coding professional Surgical services Active AAPC or AHIMA coding certification at the time of hire Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology Maintains a 95% coding accuracy rate and meets client's productivity standards
