A company is looking for a Lead Azure/SQL Database Administrator to oversee database infrastructure and lead a team of DBAs. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of database administrators, providing technical guidance and performance feedback Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure SQL databases to ensure scalability, availability, and security Proactively monitor and optimize database performance and implement robust backup and recovery strategies Required Qualifications Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure SQL Database administration Proficient in T-SQL and scripting tools such as PowerShell Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a SQL Server/Azure DBA, with at least 1-2 years in a lead role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and SSRS is a plus
