A company is looking for a Medical Director for the New England Region. Key Responsibilities Oversee utilization review and quality assurance of inpatient hospitalizations, prior authorizations, and appeals Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical/medical programs to enhance medical management Support Medical Management staff with timely responses to members and providers, including various reviews and appeals Required Qualifications Two or more years of experience in Health Care Delivery Systems, including clinical practice Active and current medical license without encumbrances M.D. or D.O. with active and current Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty Post-graduate direct patient care experience Ability to obtain a New England state medical license if not currently held
