Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and support regarding various Economic Assistance programs Assess client needs and provide information and referrals for agency or community resources Determine eligibility and authorize benefits while maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and policies Required Qualifications, Training, and Education One year of work experience in determining eligibility for human services economic assistance programs, or completion of a two-year associate degree program Completion of a one-year certificate program for eligibility workers, or 90 semester hours of a bachelor's degree program High school diploma or GED with three years of relevant work experience in processing claims or financial eligibility benefits Combination of education and experience totaling three years in related fields Successful completion of an FBI criminal history record check and fingerprinting
