Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer

A company is looking for a Criticality Safety Engineer. Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and collaborate on Nuclear Criticality Safety evaluations Conduct independent reviews and participate in assessments of the Nuclear Criticality Safety Program Prepare and present technical reports, and conduct training for employees involved in fissionable material operations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, math, or science, with 4-5 years of Nuclear Criticality Safety experience, or 5 years of equivalent technical experience Involvement in industry committees is preferred Minimum of 3 years of DOE-specific experience is highly preferred Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DOE Q security clearance Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered
