A company is looking for a Medical or Senior Medical Director specializing in Ophthalmology, working remotely in the US. Key Responsibilities Provide medical direction for early clinical trials and support ongoing project development Oversee medical monitoring activities and ensure quality and timelines of medical deliverables Contribute to medical strategy and execution of studies, including protocol review and investigator meetings Required Qualifications MD Degree with relevant specialty/sub-specialty fellowship training and board certification Substantial knowledge of drug development and extensive clinical research experience in a therapeutic area Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in clinical research within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry 2-5 years of clinical trials medical monitoring experience or relevant clinical development experience Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
