Payroll and Rewards Lead
A company is looking for a Payroll and Total Rewards Lead to manage payroll operations and develop total rewards strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll across multiple subsidiaries and states
Support the design and administration of compensation programs and employee benefits
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate reporting and recordkeeping
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in a payroll function, preferably in a fast-paced or tech/start-up environment
Experience managing multi-state payrolls for 500+ employees and 1099 contractors
Strong understanding of payroll compliance and state/federal employment laws
Proficiency in payroll systems, advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills, and ability to learn new software quickly
