Payroll Tax Manager

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Manager. Key Responsibilities Review and file tax returns and deposits for federal and all 50 states Research and resolve tax notices and claims from agencies in a timely manner Support clients with tax agency applications and provide payroll tax expertise to operations and implementation teams Required Qualifications 2-5 years of progressive payroll tax experience Experience in a payroll tax role for a service bureau, including federal and state returns Understanding of the payroll life cycle and payroll tax concepts at federal, state, and local levels Prior experience with payroll software and related tax software Ability to independently resolve issues and present solutions
