Key Responsibilities Follow up with insurance companies on submitted claims and obtain payment status Appeal denied claims and actively manage Accounts Receivable to maintain acceptable days in A/R Maintain confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and identify billing trends Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Medical Billing field Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
