Strategic Communications Associate

A company is looking for a Strategic Communications Associate - Plastics until September 2025. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a communications strategy to counter the influence of the oil and gas and chemical industries during negotiations on the Global Plastics Treaty Monitor media for industry advertising and lobbying, and develop strategies to counter them Maintain relationships with key reporters and partners, and support digital teams in executing targeted campaigns Required Qualifications Proven experience in journalism, communications, or campaigning Sound understanding of the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or plastics industry Experience or understanding of global diplomacy and geopolitics Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in French and/or German is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
