A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler, CVTS. Key Responsibilities Schedule patient surgical procedures and acquire necessary information from surgeons Provide pre-certification for procedures and advise on insurance responsibilities Maintain and monitor surgical block time to optimize utilization and prevent loss Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 5 years of experience in a medical office environment Exposure to physician billing, medical collections, coding, and surgery scheduling Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling is preferred
