Washington State Licensed Parent Partner
A company is looking for a Parent Partner who has lived experience as a parent or guardian of a child with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized, strength-based support and education to families
Collaborate with patients, families, and clinical care team members
Offer resource referrals to families facing various challenges
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience as a parent/guardian of a child with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse backgrounds
Completion of Washington State online peer training and application as a certified peer counselor within 60 days of employment
Completion of Washington State Youth and Family training within 6 months of employment
