AI Scientist

A company is looking for a Staff/Senior Staff AI Scientist with experience in developing and implementing machine learning approaches for complex scientific data. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of novel machine learning architectures and algorithms to analyze and integrate diverse scientific data types Design and implement scalable deep learning models that can effectively process complex scientific data to derive actionable insights Drive research initiatives focused on prediction, understanding, and design for AI systems Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Computational Biology, or a related field with a focus on machine learning applications Minimum 5 years of post-PhD experience developing machine learning models, including at least 3 years in industry Strong theoretical foundation in classical machine learning methods and deep understanding of statistical concepts Extensive experience with modern deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and high-performance computing environments Strong programming skills in Python and R, with experience in developing production-ready ML pipelines
