Allowables Analyst

A company is looking for an Allowables Representative. Key Responsibilities Review and resolve invoices with allowable variance denials and process payment disputes/appeals Generate variance reports to identify trends in allowable variance denials and adjust priorities as necessary Consult with management regarding unusual circumstances and monitor the progress of payment disputes/appeals Required Qualifications Thorough knowledge of physician billing policies and healthcare reimbursement guidelines Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in physician medical billing, focusing on research and claim denials General knowledge of ICD and CPT coding guidelines High school diploma or equivalent Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
