Key Responsibilities Lead field surveys and archival research, writing architectural descriptions, and developing historic context statements Conduct evaluations for the National Register of Historic Places and prepare technical reports and environmental documents Supervise and train junior staff, participate in business development, and prepare project proposals Required Qualifications Master's degree in history, architectural history, historic preservation, or a related field 8+ years of experience as an architectural historian Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and Section 106 of the NHPA Ability to author technical reports and complete California Department of Parks and Recreation 523 forms A valid California driver's license and ability to travel throughout California
