A company is looking for an Associate Counsel - Product and Privacy. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal support and strategic advice to product and engineering teams on product development and compliance with global privacy regulations Support the negotiation of commercial agreements with privacy implications and collaborate on privacy-related contract provisions Lead privacy impact assessments and monitor changes in global privacy regulations to ensure compliance Required Qualifications: J.D. or equivalent legal degree from an accredited law school Member in good standing of a state bar (preferably California or Texas) 5+ years of experience in privacy, product counseling, or technology law, with at least 2 years focused on privacy compliance Experience advising on global privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, particularly for DPAs and MSAs
