Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure proper coding and documentation Review medical records for accurate code assignment and maintain data integrity Mentor and train other coders while developing educational materials as needed Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred Certification such as CPC, CSS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, or CPMA required Minimum of 2 years of experience required Proficiency in ICD-10 coding required Competence in using computers and basic software programs is necessary
