CPA Accounting Director

A company is looking for an Accounting Director to lead the establishment of an in-house accounting department. Key Responsibilities Lead the transition from outsourced to in-house accounting, integrating processes with existing workflows Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification (required) Minimum 8 years of nonprofit accounting experience Expertise in GAAP compliance and nonprofit accounting standards Proven ability to build financial systems and transition to an in-house accounting model
