A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist in Disability Claims. Key Responsibilities Manage and resolve complex insurance claims disputes Prepare and review legal documentation related to claims disputes and appeals Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain detailed records of appeals and complaints Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional work experience in the insurance industry Experience with Group Insurance Claims (Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and/or Paid/Unpaid Leaves) Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred) Prior experience with appeals, litigation support, or legal knowledge (preferred) Experience with FINEOS Claims software platform is a plus (preferred)
