A company is looking for a Medical Authorization/Eligibility Agent (Remote). Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls regarding authorization, eligibility, and estimates Request authorization from Utilization Management Company or Insurance Payer and execute eligibility searches Document authorization and eligibility details, and communicate with referring physicians regarding denied cases Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED One to three years of experience in a healthcare or high-volume call center environment Familiarity with medical terminology for radiology procedures preferred Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable high-speed internet connection Equipment will be provided for remote work
