Texas Licensed Alcohol Counselor
A company is looking for an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor to support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use through various treatment methods in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate new members and formulate care plans in collaboration with medical staff
Facilitate individual coaching sessions and manage a caseload while monitoring health outcomes
Document sessions and develop new clinical tools while maintaining HIPAA standards
Required Qualifications
Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, with certification from IC&RC
3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
BA/BS and/or MA preferred
Experience with EMR systems, telehealth settings, and evidence-based treatment programs
Secure private space and high-speed internet access for conducting sessions
