Key Responsibilities
Provide virtual one-on-one and group instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
Utilize assistive technologies and virtual platforms to enhance communication and learning
Qualifications
California Certification as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Experience teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in K-12 education, preferably in a virtual setting
Strong understanding of the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and familiarity with IEP development
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is highly preferred
Access to a reliable internet connection and necessary technology for virtual instruction
