A company is looking for a Value Based Care Coder Educator. Key Responsibilities Perform code abstraction of medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM code assignment Identify documentation improvement opportunities and assist in provider education Make recommendations for process improvements to enhance coding goals and outcomes Required Qualifications Associate's degree in healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in Medicare or Medicaid Risk Adjustment models Experience with EPIC, Cerner, and/or NextGen Certified Risk Coder certification from AAPC Preferred certifications include CPC or CCS from AHIMA or AAPC
