Child Sensitive Climate Policy Consultant

A company is looking for a home-based international consultant for technical guidance on integrating child-sensitive approaches in the NDC 3.0. Key Responsibilities Develop a roadmap for enhancing child sensitivity in NDCs, including stakeholder identification and gap analysis Support the definition of key asks for child-sensitive NDCs and facilitate stakeholder dialogue Provide training and capacity-building workshops on child-sensitive NDC approaches for UNICEF staff and relevant stakeholders Required Qualifications Master's or post-graduate degree in Climate Change diplomacy, International Development, Public Policy, or related fields Minimum five years of work experience in climate change, environmental science, social sciences, or public policy In-depth understanding of climate change policy frameworks, especially NDCs under the Paris Agreement Proven ability to lead consultations with government agencies and NGOs on child-sensitive climate policies Experience in designing and delivering training on child-sensitive climate policies for government staff and stakeholders
