Quantitative Analyst II

A company is looking for a Quantitative Analyst II, Model Validation (Remote). Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of risk evaluation methods and develop expert solutions to address identified risks Source, compile, and interpret data while performing complex analysis for risk trends and data discrepancies Produce reports based on data analysis and company trends to convey patterns and enable insight into potential losses Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or statistical modeling, or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field is preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in model development, validation, or implementation within the financial industry is preferred Proficiency in traditional statistical methods and machine learning techniques, along with advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SQL) Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to stress testing and capital planning
