Senior Insurance Specialist

A company is looking for a Sr. PFS Insurance Specialist. Key Responsibilities Collect outstanding Accounts Receivable for assigned payers and improve reimbursement rates Research payer policies and submit appeals for denied claims or invoices Develop and deliver reports to management regarding payer claim issues Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in clinical laboratory billing, preferably genetic billing 4+ years of experience with various payor knowledge and Accounts Receivables High school diploma plus some college preferred Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, and ICD 10 codes Experience with Practice Management systems; Xifin experience preferred
