State Licensed Claim Litigation Counsel

A company is looking for a Corporate Claim Litigation Counsel (Remote). Key Responsibilities Oversee first and third-party claims of heightened exposure, complex extra-contractual matters, bad faith, and other major litigation related to insurance claims Perform extra-contractual analysis based on factual and legal issues Provide advice to the Claims Organization on extra-contractual and bad faith issues, recommendations for resolution, and strategies to mitigate risk related to insurance claims Required Qualifications Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing within the state of practice 7 or more years of experience in insurance defense work Experience managing or litigating bad faith or extra-contractual allegations Project management skills and law firm/vendor management experience Insurance Defense experience is required
