A company is looking for a Database Administrator - Mongo SME. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze customer database requirements and provide technical solutions for database management Review, recommend, and update database schemas and provide infrastructure recommendations Provide on-the-job training to application points of contact and database users Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, or 15 years of related experience in lieu of a degree At least 7 years of experience in system and database administration using MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL in a cloud environment Hands-on experience with MongoDB installation, configuration, and optimization Experience with AWS EC2 instances and database backup and disaster recovery in cloud environments Significant knowledge of database security and monitoring practices
