A company is looking for a Freelance Content Leveler (Science). Key Responsibilities Adapt reading levels of original articles to create accessible content for diverse student readers Ensure grade-appropriate content by considering vocabulary complexity, sentence structure, and length Monitor original articles for mistakes and inaccuracies while participating in instructional standards tagging projects Required Qualifications Experience as an editor, journalist, or writer, preferably in publishing Background in EdTech, tech, or media organizations Preferred experience or education in Science, including lab research or a degree in STEM/science writing Secondary degree experience in education, such as a teacher or teaching assistant in Science Familiarity with writing for diverse audiences and understanding of specific content areas
