Remote Member Care Advocate
A company is looking for a Member Care Advocate (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Field inbound member calls and serve as a representative of the company's healthcare mission
Assist members in understanding their benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs
Communicate with patients and providers regarding inquiries related to insurance claims and benefits
Required Qualifications
5+ years of healthcare customer service experience within an insurance environment
1+ year of experience working in a remote environment
Strong knowledge of health plans, including the ability to explain deductibles and EOBs
Ability to demonstrate empathy and a commitment to improving patient lives
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
