CPC Certified Edits Specialist

A company is looking for a Professional Edits/Denials Specialist. Key Responsibilities Analyze and review client medical records for accurate code assignment Identify and remediate denials received by clients and work on edits as requested Code professional fee charts and prepare daily edits/denials logs Required Qualifications Active CPC/COC/CCS or CCS-P certification in good standing with AHIMA or AAPC Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications Minimum of 5 years of physician/ProFee or payer Rejection/Denials Remediation experience preferred Knowledge of E/M code assignment preferred Experience with EHR/Billing systems and Cerner Powerchart preferred
